Today I celebrate the life of my longtime friend, Marty. Marty passed away yesterday after a long and lengthy fight with cancer. We were originally diagnosed with cancer the same year back in 2000. His metastesized to his lungs where it finally won but not without a long drawn out fight. Safe passages, Marty, I love you!

Awww, may his spirit now know pain-free peace and may he be there to help you along your own brave path.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss......I lost my grandfather to cancer this day 4 years ago, and he fought valiantly too. At least we know they are no longer suffering and are pain free now.
I'm really sorry for your loss, but I'm glad he's not in pain anymore.
