  Wow, what a long-ass day yesterday was!  My plane was delayed by 3 hours in Vegas.  I'd never been to Vegas before and as I roamed about the airport I pondered to myself as to whether I should buy a souvinier......or however you spell it..........then I looked around at my surroundings and thought, "no, you goof, you haven't been to Vegas, you've been to the AIRPORT!"  LOL

  
  

  Poor Doug had the day from Hell.  First he got a ticket on the job and that always sucks and then he called me at a little after 10 pm and he'd gotten a flat on the freeway trying to get home.  The stupid-ass company he works for said they would send out a dispatch to see if someone would come and help him out.  Yeah right, at 10 at night?  He called Triple A instead. Then when he got home all the lights in our apartment were on.......fortunately his nephew had dropped by and left them on but for a minute there...........  Yikes!!

  
  

  I just had a half hour long phone conversation with Sabrina, the gal I'm going to meet for lunch.  She seems like a very nice person and I'm even more sorry now than I was before that she got caught up in this whole mess. We're meeting tomorrow at 11 am.  I'm an still a little nervous and wary myself but when it comes right down to it, neither of us have anything to lose.  Still.........in the back of my mind, I wonder, "what if she shows up with John and I'm walking into a set up."  I'm sure it's just my overactive imagination and from what she said tonight, they're not together and he's busy banging another woman.........a married woman........his daughter's cheerleading coach.
