Well, at the moment, I'm incredibly boring......
I'm working two jobs again and have been for the last month. I'm working at Ikea in Costa Mesa and I really enjoy it. I just cut my hours there from full time to part time as working 70 hours a week was literally killing me. I still have one week left of full time before I go part time. I can't tell you how relieved I am!!
We've adopted 3 new children in the last month or so. King is another Ball Python who also has scarring on his belly. I saw him when I went to buy a rat for Jazzmin and couldn't walk out without him. At the time he wasn't for sale as he wasn't eating and still isn't, but I'm not worried. He's a big boy and sometimes Ball's go as long as 6 months before they eat. We are going to take him to the vet though and have him checked out.
Ghost is a little white rat that was supposed to be King's dinner. We bought Jazzmin and King rats at the same time. Jazzmin gulped her's down like a good girl and King wandered up to his, gave him a big smile and said, "Howdy, Roomate!" King just looked at his rat and so we removed the rat and put him in a cage intending for him to be dinner in another two weeks. If you know me, you know why he's now a pet and not future dinner. I named him Ghost because he's been given a reprieve and is now the "living dead".
Serafina was found under an abandoned truck. Doug was bringing Clinton home from school one night and they heard a terribly loud mewing sound coming from a truck that's been parked in the same place for months now. Clinton managed to get her out and take her inside where he looked at his arms which were completely black. They bathed the poor kitten 3 times and she still smelled like motor oil when I came home from work late that night. It took her almost a week for our dog, Chopper to completely get her cleaned and smelling like a cat should. I'm really glad we found her as she eventially would have become ill and died from trying to lick off all that motor oil! She's a beautiful cat that looks like a Maine Coon. She's all black with a silver mane, long hair and green eyes.
Ah the more the merrier.....................as Doug's eyes roll back in his head again! That makes 7 pets and 6 kids!! hehehehe

Wow, 7 pets and six kids!! We currently have two kids, two dogs, two rats and a guinea pig, lol! Sounds like things are going good, glad you are getting your time cut back, that would kill me too!
SIS!!! I missed you!!! *HUGS*
Oh my gosh, I cannot believe you have so many pets!!!! Mike won't even let me get a turtle!!
Well, lol, it's good reason. 1) Our new place doesn't allow drum playing turtles (j/k, about the drum part) and 2) We travel so much that it's not a good idea anyway.
Anyway, glad to see you posted!! I'll be joining facebook soon, so I'll add you to that
Not so boring. Might there be pictures goingup?
Welcome back to the land of the living hon! Keep them posts a'comin....
Awwww, how nice of you to take in new babies (although some of them were intended as foodies). I had a white rat named Jazmyn once.
Congrats on the new additions to the family! Certainly sounds like you have a full household
I think it's time for me to get a snake again. If I remember correctly, the last time I had one was in 1990, sold it before moving to Michigan. I looked at a few while in Michigan, and again after moving to NC, but haven't acquired one.
Hugs,
Moss
